Match Report
St James Senior Boys' School U16 vs  Salvatorian College
On: Friday, 16 Nov 2018
Venue: Away

The U16's had a difficult start to their semi-final, the weather wasn't on their side. We turned up to Harrow RFC to find the fog had set in and visibility wasn't more than 20 metres. The Team started well and it was very close with most of the game played on the half way line for the first 10 minutes. The deadlock was broken when Harry Tarsh picked from a scrum 25 metres out and beat the winger to score under the posts. With St James now having a grip on the game more pressure lead to a penalty that Marc Fusil graciously knocked over to lead 10 - 0 after 20 minutes. St James weren't finished for the half, some more good pressure from the team led to another scrum in a similar position. Harry Tarsh picked again and repeated his earlier success by again scoring under the posts. St James went into half time 17 -0 up. Salvatorian College came out fighting in the second half and quickly scored two tries making it 17-10. St James eventually managed to sort their discipline out and got one more score through Hayden Panton, 24-10. St James finished strongly controlling the game and won, sending them through to the Middlesex Plate Final for the second year in a row.
