Match Report
St James Senior Boys' School 1st XV vs  The Harrodian School
On: Wednesday, 23 Jan 2019
Venue: at Home

In a match-up that hasn't taken place for several years, St James hosted Harrodian School on Wednesday afternoon on a frosty winters afternoon.

The Saints played the parts of both Jeckyl and Hyde with the forwards playing beautifully but the backs failing to find their rhythm on a consistent basis.

Despite going into half time 10-5 down with a well worked try from Tarsh, the Saints never panicked and knew that they had the measure of their visitors.

A wonderful catch and drive from the forwards was finished off by Dzik-Jurasz and a cutting line from Captain Harris provided the tries in the second half which were both, vitally, converted by Fusil.

Harrodian rallied and scored again but St James closed out the match professionally, winning 19-15 and setting the squad up nicely for next weeks Friday Night Lights match up against Waldegrave school.
